Amaradeva International Music Centre to be Set up for the Advancement of Music with Sri Lankan Identity

The W. D Amaradewa Foundation has taken steps to establish an International Center of Music. The main objective of establishing this Center is to continue the invaluable experience and knowledge gained by Pandith W.D Amaradewa to be passed on to the next generation, especially for the advancement of Sinhala music (Hele Kalawa) by securing the Sri Lankan identity.

The Ministry of Urban Development and Sacred Area Development has allocated the land of 30 perches to Amaradewa Foundation in extent at D.M Colombage Mawatha, Kirulapone to establish this music center.
