01st February 2011, www.dailynews.lk

Prestige Limousines is setting the stage to launch new limousines, the Toyota Landcruiser Prado limousine - the world’s first Toyota limousine on that brand, the Chrysler 300C limousine and the Hummer H3 limousine on February 7, 2011 at the BMICH Hall B.

The three limousines have been imported into Sri Lanka and more will be imported in the future according to demand.

Prestige Limousines Chairman Dr Chaminda Perera said, “at present we only deal with stretch limousines. We are very proud to be the pioneer in this category by launching the first limousines into Sri Lanka”.

“There has been a great response so far from rentals as well as the public,” he said.

  2. There is a Mercedes Limo in Sri Lanka which was owned by the Managing Director of Barista Coffee. So, these are not the firsts in Sri Lanka.

But anyways, the concept is very good. This will increase our tourism opportunity and most Tycoons will start coming when they see the comfort level here. We should have a good tourism Campaign using these. Anyways great work. All the best!

  5. Those mercedes Limos are not real Limousines. Those are made by adding a long lorry chasy and few seats not the real Limos. But this people imported real strech Limos with all the options like Bar, Disco, LCD TV etc....

  9. The First ever Limousine in sri lanka was owned by Roshan Perera ten years before these so called first ever limos came to town, and contrary to popular belief it was not made off some lorry chassy but was the real deal, he now also has a Black limo which could be seen sometimes at cinnamon lake when he parties at the Library, he uses it for his personal use and never hires it like the others hence the miss-information
